After the victory of Marco and Lizzy and their Excess 11 “Bombarda” in the 2021 ARC, it’s now the turn of two Excess 15s to head out on the ARC 2022!
Our two crews left from Las Palmas, Gran Canaria, on a 2,700-nautical mile passage, bound for St. Lucia. A few days before their departure, an Excess team was there to talk to them, giving the opportunity for the sailors to ask all the questions they wanted and to collect advice for their Atlantic crossing to go smoothly.
We’ll catch up with them a couple of weeks or so for the results, and with any luck, you might spot them out on the open sea!
