The Excess 14 rewarded at the "Design Innovation Awards"
The Excess 14 has also received the Design Innovation Award, a prize awarded by the Genoa International Boat Show in Italy and the Italian Marine Industry Association.
Since 2020, this award has been conferred by a professional judging panel and pays tribute to the innovation and excellence of the boats on display.
The winners of the third edition of the Design Innovation Award were announced at the special awards ceremony on Friday September 23, among whom Excess received an honorable mention for its research and use of materials. The Excess 14 has indeed achieved superb sailing performance thanks to a meticulous study of shapes and materials.
