Our partners in Brazil, Aloha Nautica, sponsored the 6th edition of the Brachuy Regatta, an absolute once-in-a-lifetime race that gathers sailors from all over the world - and especially across the Brazilian community! With the largest turnout in the history of the regatta of 130 sailors and 710 crew members, there were 9 women lead team captains and 4 all-women teams competing! With the results log in, we're pleased to announce the ultimate success of our participating catamarans in taking the top two places in their division!
Sea Wylo, an Excess 14 from Paratay commanded by Cecilia Vernaglia came in 1st place!
And in 2nd place, Arcanjo, an Excess 15 from Paraty commanded by Jeferson Antonio Andrade de Moura!

With not only initiatives of fostering community amongst a friendly competition, the Brachuy Regatta is a chance to give back to those in need and protect the environment. Through donations and an overwhelming amount of volunteers, the organization collected school supplies, toys, and cleaning materials for those in need. PLUS, 5200 aluminum cans and 3770 plastic bottles to raise awareness of protecting our environment!
